Creating a meeting

  1. Sign into Zoom by going to zoom.us/signin and using your username and password

          
  2. Click on “Meetings” located on the left-hand side of the screen under “profile”

               

     

3. Next, click on schedule a new meeting.

              

4. Now enter all relevant meeting information, including topic, date and time. Click both the participant and host video on and edit
any other features as needed. Then click save.

5.  After clicking the save button, the screen will automatically direct you to the manage “meeting” screen. This is where the invitation
will be located to send to participants.  

a. You can add this event directly to your calendar using the following
button.

Please note: it will ask you to choose the gmail account associated with the
invitation and permission to allow zoom to access your calendar


6.  Using the invitation tab on the manage meeting page click on copy the invitation (after copying the invitation hit cancel to close the screen)
and send it to the participants. This can be done 1 of 2 ways (the invitations are editable using either method.



a. Creating a calendar event using your google calendar and pasting the
invitation in the event description box


b. Pasting the invitation in the body of the email being sent to participants


      


Starting your meeting


1. Sign into Zoom by going to zoom.us/signin and using your username and password.


            

2. Click on “Meetings” located on the left-hand side of the screen under “profile”


          



3. Then click start next to the scheduled meeting

      

4. Click on the Open URL: Zoom Launcher button. At this time you can click the box that would enable you to always open these
types of links in the associated app.


     

                             

5. Click on the “join audio conference by computer” button. You can also test your mic and speakers at this time and check the box at
the bottom of this screen to automatically join audio by computer when joining a meeting.

         


6. Enjoy your meeting

1. Sharing your screen

                  Please note that what you would like to share will need to be open on your computer in order to be a share option

                            a. Click on the share screen icon


                       


b. Select the window you would like to share and click on the share screen option (there is also an option for a whiteboard).




c. When you are done sharing, click the stop sharing button at the top of your screen.



                      

2. Sharing a screen using an Android device: 

 a. Click on the share screen icon.

                 

        

b. Choose an option from the listing.


                       


 c. Click the “stop sharing” icon when finished.

3. Sharing a screen using an iOS device:

a. Click on the share content icon.


b. Choose an option from the listing.



c. Click the “stop sharing” icon when finished.
